GETHSEMANE YOUTH

Gethsemane Lutheran Church offers many events for children and youth ministries. Our Sunday school (preschool through 6th grade) meets from 9:15 to 10:30 on Sunday mornings. We also have a Jr. High Bible class and a Sr. High Bible class meeting at the same time on Sunday mornings. Our Jr. High youth meet for confirmation on Wednesday evenings, followed by open gym. Our Sr. High youth also meet on Wednesday nights. We are just beginning to develop a student-led cell group ministry for our Sr. youth.

• Events include:
• Visiting nursing homes
• Other mission events. volunteering at Project Cure
• Open gym… basketball, kickball, volleyball
• BBQ in the park
• Bible Studies
• Retreats in the mountains
• Attend the National Youth Gatherings in Orlando, FL
• Serve others though car washes, dinners etc.
• Confirmation instruction
• Lock-ins
• Fun events to bring friends to… like bowling, area amusement parks

We feel this is the way we can make the biggest impact possible in our community. We want to share the good news of Jesus with others."
