Welcome! This is your invitation to come check out the changes at Gethsemane Lutheran Church and School here in Tempe, AZ. We are most excited to welcome Pastor Troy Schmidt as our new senior pastor. Pastor Troy has joined us here from one of the largest churches in Houston, TX and will be installed on November 16th. Gethsemane is a Christ-centered, Bible based Lutheran Church, part of the authentic Body of Christ.

Our mission is To Grow in Faith and Share the Love of Jesus. We serve people of all ages with the Good News of Jesus. We believe that He is the Son of God, the Savior of the world, and the Lord of Life. We believe that salvation (eternal life), purchased with His death on the cross for the sins of the world, is available to all who believe – to those with a trusting faith relationship.
